Celebrated our first anniversary at IHOP at BGC.  We heard the prices were expensive for something you’d eat at breakfast, but we said we wanted to try it on our anniversary.  And tried we did! I loved the hashbrown, because I love all things potato however it is cooked. ;) Jaeck had the Philly Cheesesteak and enjoyed every bit of it.  I’m no food critic so I would stop describing how everything tasted like.  But at the end of our meal, we were both so full, I felt like we walked out of there with our bellies out.  Good thing I was wearing my favorite pair of leggings! Will definitely be back to try other stuff on their menu! :)

In Hong Kong again for the third time with a new set of people.  It was my first time to experience winter too so I was excited like I was seeing everything for the first time.  Being someone from a tropical country, I could not gauge whether the amount of layers I brought with me were enough to brave the cold cold weather.  It turns out I brought three different jackets, but ended up using only one in the entire trip (not exactly a light packer here)!

Since most of the people I was with were first-time travelers to HK, we went rounds to all the touristy things.  Hopefully when I come back the fourth time (during winter, for sure because I love the opportunity to wear things I won’t normally wear in this country!), I’d get to experience the real culture!

I wish I were a kid again…

Don’t you? Last October 2011, I attended Kaelin’s 1st Birthday Party which was organized hands-on by her mom Kit. From the set up of the venue, the candy bar (my favorite!), the customized invitations, the stacked cupcakes, activity booths, and food carts, it was truly memorable. I must say the adults enjoyed it more than Kaelin!

i fell in love with Ilocos after a trip last January.  i love all things vintage, and this city has that in almost every corner.  every structure has a story behind it and i’m glad that they were preserved.  only 1.5 hours from Manila via plane, this city is a must-see.

i used to have Lens Babies but i only shot with them once.  i bought them for the dreamy effect they produced but i didn’t know the controls were so manual! i was only able to take a few decent shots with them then gave up.
